It could be Serena, Maria, Stanton or Amber, or any of the rest of us – but we are all ready to hear what you have to say and help you out any way we can. Truly! You can even ask about our curbside service.
Secondly, AMFCU prides itself on helping people get their financial lives in order. Third, AMFCU's products and services will never have the "fine print" be longer than the deal itself. We pride ourselves on simple, awesome products and services. We call it what it is and will never put the important information in a 3-point font. You'll never hear a commercial that ends with someone speaking so quickly, getting all the disclosures out, that no one but Superman could understand what they are saying. We will never promote products or specials that make it really difficult to get what is being advertised.
Fourth, sometimes you're not going to get what you want at AMFCU. WHAT?! We turn down member requests for real estate loans and for car loans. We're not going to make a loan when it doesn't make sense. And that does not make some of our members happy. They will say to us, "Well, so and so will make us the loan – why won't you?" There are plenty of finance companies and mortgage brokers that are happy to make their commission from you and they don't care about what's going to happen to you 6 months down the road, when reality shows up on your doorstep. We would rather work with you, get you financially strong and then give you whatever kind of loan you need at a great interest rate!
Note: For anyone considering using a check cashing service, PLEASE call us BEFORE YOU GO! There's stuff you need to know about these places. Many times, we can help for a heck of a lot less money than what you're going to pay there.
