Credit Union Philosophy
When you join AM Federal Credit Union, you become a member and owner of a not–for profit, financial cooperative, organized solely for the needs of our members. Since credit unions are owned and controlled by their members, all profits are returned directly to the membership in the form of higher dividend rates on savings and lower rates on loans. Membership is limited – only employees of Select Employer Groups and their families have access to exclusive credit union services and products.
Safety and Security
We are a federally–chartered organization, regulated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government.
All deposits at the credit union are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). The NCUSIF is the strongest insurance fund in the financial services industry and is backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government.
